Teclast P88S 8-inch tablet Chinese clone of the Apple iPad Mini

The Teclast P88S is a Chinese tablet that is highly reminiscent of the recent Chuwi W88 and Colorfly CT781, both with the same diagonal and similar measures, both as regards the thickness of the frame around the display, in all cases, thinner than the Apple iPad mini. Even in the case of the Teclast P88S we find a beautiful body in aluminum alloy lines very close to those of the tablet from Cupertino but just with smaller frames, thus leaving more space for the displayed content and allow you to include the measures of the device, which is also thinner than the more famous tablet U.S.. In this case we have a thickness of just 6.75 mm.
The result is made possible by the adoption of an IPS display produced by OGS, which uses a special technology that allows to significantly reduce the diaphragm between the actual panel and touch screen, thus recovering precious millimeters. At the moment the technical data concerning the Teclast P88S, which the manufacturer has not officially announced yet but that is just leaked on some forums Asians, are not yet complete, so we do not know for example resolution and screen luminance value, while for far we only know that the hardware platform adopts SoC AllWinner A31 , formed by a quad core ARM Cortex A7 and a performance PGU PowerVR SGX544 .
No news at the moment instead on the amount of RAM or memory dedicated to storage, as you do not know the number and type of ports offered, possible expansion of the area of data storage and connection modules, while the operating system should be Google Android Jelly Bean, but in version 4.1 and not 4.2. Within a few weeks, Teclast should formalize the tablet, announcing then either complete technical specifications that price and availability, possibly even beyond the national borders.
