EU3000 and Mele A2000 Android TV Box

Android TV Box that are coming onto the market, the excellent relationship between price and strong performance thanks to some System on a Chip economic performance but as those produced by AllWinner and RockChip and operating system of Google. Today we speak of the EU3000 and Mele A2000.

Very nice and treated the first, featuring a polycarbonate shell with black gloss finish, with its soft and curvy yet slender, which give the device a high-tech appearance. EU3000 is mounted on a swivel that allows a precise orientation, while the base allows the coupling to the top of any display. The measures 154 x 120 x 53 mm and weighs only 100 g also makes the product not much different from a simple webcam that is well integrated on the front, with a sensor to 5 megapixels and a noise-canceling microphone that make environmental the EU3000 one of the most suitable to carry out also work calls, can guarantee an audio / video quality much higher than the average of other similar devices.

Inside, the platform includes as said the System on a Chip AllWinner A20, consisting of a dual-core 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A7 and an ARM Mali 400 GPU, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory for the local storage, expandable via microSD memory. The equipment is then completed by HDMI digital video output, a microUSB port, a USB full-size bed and a WiFi module, while the operating system is Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Aliexpress offers this TV box at a cost of $99 .

The second model instead is produced from apples, of which we have recently proposed the A1000G model , a more expensive model but also performance as it comes with a quad core SoC AllWinner A31. In this case we talk of the model A2000 apples, a very different product, price, appearance and functionality, compared the EU3000. In this case, in fact we find an appearance closer to that of a normal miniPC, with shell table by square shapes and also equipped with remote control which also integrates a full keyboard. Inside is a platform entirely identical to that EU3000, while different is the allocation of ports.

Mele A2000 includes 2 full size USB, plug the Ethernet LAN and HDMI video outputs, VGA and Composite AV . Also interesting is the interface that comes with the operating system Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, showing large colored squares from which to start the main feature. The price of apples A2000, which should be released next May, should be between 60 and 70 dollars.
