MINIX Neo X7mini will be equipped with 2GB of RAM, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth, support for 1080p HD video playback and wireless technology Miracast display. Like its big brother Neo X7, the new Mini PC Minix is designed to be connected to the TV, turning the house into a large screen Android tablet on which to run the main applications of Google. The user can also use a remote control included in the package, to navigate through the folders and play videos, or may connect a keyboard, mouse or any other device to play games, go on the Internet or run apps.
On the sides of MINIX Neo X7mini are placed two USB ports, an SD card reader, HDMI port, Ethernet port, and S / PDIF. Unlike the standard version, this Mini PC has a couple of doors less but more functions than other Android TV Box competitors. MINIX Neo X7 measures 10 x 10 x 28.2 inches and incorporates a "generic" ARM Cortex A9 quad-core processor, probably aRockchip RK3188 SoC (the same present in the larger model) with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean .
MINIX Neo X7mini is almost half of MINIX Neo X7 (which has three USB ports and audio jack 3.5 mm). The first will be available for late August/early September, while the standard version is expected to enter the market next week.
