Zotac ZBOX ID88 and ID89 Mini PC

Continue to expand the family of Mini-PC by Zotac ZBOX. After the model Nano XS recently seen here come two new versions in fact, Zotac ZBOX ID88 and ID89, designed to deny that a Mini PC is only a compact computer and comfortable and fuel-efficient but not powerful and versatile.
The two new models share the body, which in both cases is quite similar to that of their predecessors with the upper face in black polycarbonate with gloss finish embellished by the usual circle backlit , which is continuously marked by the logo of the manufacturer, ie the Zotac O in fact. In this case the color of the two models seems to be the ' blue (in other cases, the LED can also be orange or green). However, given the hardware configuration of these two Mini PC, in this case the sides are metal and have showy ventilation grids to improve the heat exchange with the interior.
Zotac has chosen to set up both a really powerful. The two models differ only for the processor adopted, while the rest of the platform is in common. XBOX ID88 chip it uses a dual core third generation (Ivy Bridge) Intel Core i3-3220T with a clock rate of 2.8 GHz, while Zotac ID89 even a Core i5-3470T , always a dual core but with an operating frequency of 2.9 GHz which can also rise up to 3.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost, the first model does not support. The two miniProfile are the type barebones, so we will not find another within the chassis in addition to the processor and the motherboard, the user will choose. However, both support a maximum memory of 16 GB DDR3 RAM and hard drive or SSD with SATA interface.
For those who still want a product ready Zotac has also provided PLUS versions of both models, with 4 GB of RAM and a pre-installed hard disk of 500 GB and 5400 RPM . The equipment is then completed by a card reader 4-in-1 HDMI and DVI video outputs, 2 USB 2.0 ports capable of charging external devices, 2 USB 3.0, audio jack and plug for connection to 2 Gigabit Ethernet LAN , whose form is also flanked by those of a Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.Unfortunately Zotac has not yet specified a date of availability for its two new miniProfile nor a reference price but Fudzilla colleagues say that online is already possible preordinarli respectively at a price of 522.79 and € 587.79 for the ZBOX ID88 and ID89.
