LumiTab, 7-inch tablet with built-in projector

The Chinese manufacturer has announced LumiTab, one of the first tablet on the market with a projector built into the top edge. Unlike the 15-lumen pico-projector achieved by the smartphone Samsung Galaxy Beam, the solution installed in Lumitab goes more than double, reaching 35 lumens, for an image with WVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels) projected to more than 100 inch diagonal.
Despite the limited success of Galaxy Beam, the producers decided to try again with a tablet hoping to win customers and extend the technology to other models and devices. According to the PDF document published on the manufacturer's website, LumiTab is ideal for business presentations for projection and viewing of a film, as well as for reading ebook shared with the family. The only necessity, or rather the only limit to its use is to have a blank wall and a dark room.
In addition to the pico-projector, LumiTab integrates a processor TI OMAP 4460 dual-core 1.5GHz (Cortex A9), which should ensure adequate performance with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The IPS display has a diagonal of 7 inches and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, confining the tablet to the entry-level segment of the market. To complete the budget, we find 16GB of internal memory (expandable), stereo speakers, a front and rear camera 2 megapixel camera, a door mini HDMI , a micro USB , Bluetooth 4.0, and 4800 mAh batteryLumiTab is 15 mm thick and weighs 379 grams, after all, not too bad considering the integration of the projector.
